Anita Erdmann Miranda

Anita is always planning her next photographic adventure. Fuji in hand, she is driven by a desire to create the best digital art (yes she loves post processing) she can and to explore the world. Luckily, her job has enabled her to travel to exotic locales all over the world and see fascinating things. She has spent time in the Kalahari Desert, sailed around South America, explored the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and participated in a Harvest Bee in the Palouse. She has been blessed to be able to photograph some of the amazing wild creatures we share this planet with. Through Nikon and Fuji optics she witnessed a Cheetah chasing down a gazelle to feed her four cubs, she photographed Snow Leopards and the almost extinct Amur Leopard... she watched three giant Elephants slowly cross the dusty Kalahari towards a watering hole, their trunks swaying back and forth between their magnificent white tusks. These memories are not only vividly etched in her mind but they were also captured digitally so that she could share them with family and friends.  Where will her passport and camera take her next?... the list is long indeed and we hope that some of you can join her!

David Miranda

David began in photography as a photo lab operations technician while in the army. He started his career shooting with a 4X5 Speed Graphic back in the days of film. Unlike his partner, David prefers to capture the image in the camera rather than spend time in post processing. His use of available light is outstanding…. his photographic motto: May the light be with you! David enjoys traveling and capturing special places with his camera. He loves to capture the serenity and beauty of nature, especially its wild animals!  He searches for unique locations for our upcoming photography trips – he knows the importance of planning, detail logistics, and "being at the right place at the right time with the right light" for every trip. David will join us on all of our tours and with his creativity, technical skills and knowledge of photography he will make sure that you get the best shots possible. David has an extraordinary sense of humor. Loves night sky photography. David is also an avid trout fisherman, when he isn’t in search of the right light and the perfect shot, he is at the river catching the big one.
